Mr Warren Smith J.P. Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester and Helen Ewen, Head of Honours and Appointments Secretariat invited the President of Pakistan Association Mr.Sarfraz Ali MBE on 23rd October 2018 at The Monastery, Gorton Lane, Manchester, M12 5WF for a celebration event to raise awareness of the Honours System as part of Black History Month. Each year Her Majesty The Queen recognises the extraordinary achievements of people from all walks of life, and all ages, within our communities. These are the people who really make a difference in the lives of those around them. In each Honours List, over 70% of people who receive an honour are people who have undertaken outstanding work in their communities.
